About Melody

Melody takes a different approach to real estate.

Her passion for real estate began nearly 30 years ago when she purchased her first home at just 21 years old. Shortly after, she began buying, renovating, and reselling homes, developing a deep understanding of the construction, remodeling, and design process.

As a result, her expertise extends far beyond simply showing homes—she helps clients understand the quality, potential, and value behind every property.

As a former adjunct professor in Elon University's Business Department, Melody has a true passion for teaching. She believes that educated buyers make confident buyers, so she takes the time to help clients look beyond cosmetic issues to see opportunities to add value.

Whether purchasing an existing home or new construction, she teaches buyers how to evaluate a home from the inside out, empowering them to make informed decisions.

Melody's extensive experience in renovating and successfully selling her own investment properties also gives her sellers a distinct advantage. She works closely with homeowners to prepare, stage, and, when appropriate, renovate their homes before listing. Her goal is simple: maximize her clients' return on investment while creating a home that stands out in today's competitive market.

When she's not helping clients achieve their real estate goals, Melody enjoys attending Mercy Hill Church, spending time with family and friends, and staying active through outdoor activities like tennis and skiing.
